Jason Zipprian
Chief Executive OfficerJason has been in the electrical industry for over twenty-seven years, beginning his career in Houston. After traveling around the country performing electrical installations, he returned to his hometown of Corpus Christi. There, Jason reconnected with a friend who introduced him to FSG.
Jason began his career at FSG as an Electrical Apprentice, where he earned his Journeyman’s License and eventually worked as a Service Dispatcher. From there, he transitioned into Sales and Service and Project Management. Jason eventually worked his way into the role of Executive Vice President of FSG Corpus Christi, which he held until taking on his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer of Construction for FSG. In March of 2026, Jason was appointed as FSG’s Chief Executive Officer.
Outside of FSG, Jason is a member of the Associated General Contractors Board of Directors. Jason holds an Associate’s Degree in Business from Del Mar College and both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.

His extensive experience in the lighting and electrical business, paired with his deep passion for faith, family, and people, has helped him lead FSG through more than 40 years of success.ย
Bill graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Accounting and Finance.ย Over the years, Bill has used his experience and education to help other entrepreneurs and companies grow and thrive. Some of which would ultimately join FSG or merge their companies with FSG.
Bill is passionate about the electric trade and is focused on building FSG as an institution dedicated to timeless contributions of service and that FSG does all it can to empower others to reach their full potential.

Chief Operating Officer, DistributionLeon has been in the lighting industry for over 28 years. Leon entered the industry out of college, joining his family’s New Jersey-based lighting distributorship, which specialized in lighting supply sales to end users. This company was one of the early adopters of promoting energy conservation programs offered by utilities in the Northeast.
Upon joining FSG in 2007, Leon became one of the National Account Representatives handling multi-site national accounts. In 2012, Leon led the acquisition of Summit Lighting, a Manhattan-based commercial lighting distributor servicing the construction industry. After the acquisition, Leon become the Market Director of this FSG branch, located in the heart of Manhattan. For 10 years he ran the New York City operation while concentrating on providing National Accounts with all of the services of FSG including lighting, electrical, signage, technology, and energy solutions.
Leon was named the Chief Operating Officer of Distribution in 2022, as FSG began to create new executive positions to lead the company. He now oversees the entire lighting business for FSG, including oversight of all branches coast-to-coast, master distribution centers, inventory control, manufacturer relationships as well as the national customer care group.
Leon holds his BA in Entrepreneurial Management from Pace University, New York.

Vice President, Austin & San AntonioSam Smith attended Spokane Community College and Clemson University and holds a Master Electrician license for the State of Texas.

Steve Frank
Vice President, Kansas CitySteve has been in the lighting and electrical business for nearly three decades and holds a Master Electrician’s license.
He was co-owner of an electrical contracting company working out of the Kansas City area prior to merging with FSG in January 2005. Steve has held various roles during his tenure with FSG and attributes the broad knowledge that he has gained to delivering FSGโs success in Kansas City. Steve was elected to FSGโs Executive Board in late 2016, and now oversees operations in the Midwest.
Steve studied Economics at the University of Kansas where he met his wife, Renee. They have been married for over twenty-eight years and have three children together. In his spare time, Steve is an avid Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan, enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Member of the Board of DirectorsBefore founding several FSG business units and serving as an officer of FSG, Bob attended Harding University, where he studied Marketing. His education furthered when he went on to study Financial Planning at the American College and Sustainability and Design at the NCQLP and USGBC.
During his tenure at FSG, Bob has launched FSG’s Dallas, Chicago, and National Accounts divisions and led in strategic customer development. In addition to overseeing the exponential growth of FSG for the last thirty-five years, Bob has been active in various industry associations, including PRSM/Connex and IES.
Bob and his wife, Patti, have been married for forty-three years. Together, they have two children and five grandchildren. Apart from FSG, Bob enjoys dividing his time between his hobbies, including boating, cooking, golfing, gardening, and his role in his Church’s leadership.

Member of the Board of DirectorsMark has over forty years of experience in the electrical contracting industry, twenty-three of them being with FSG. Mark achieved his electrician’s license in 1979 where he then continued to pursue his Master Electrician’s license. He received a degree from Clemson University’s Project Management Academy in 1992. Mark opened his own company, MEI Electrical Inc., in 1993. He merged with FSG four years later. Mark is one of the original members of FSG’s Executive Board. Mark and his wife of forty-two years, Pam, have two children and four grandchildren. Together, Mark and Pam love to travel, one of their favorite destinations being Napa Valley. They enjoy spending most of their spare time surrounded by their family with sports on the TV in the background.

Today, he leads the lighting and distribution business. Steve is married and has five children. In his time away from FSG, he enjoys biking, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren.
